ATTORNEYS: LEXI J. HAZAM
Lexi J. Hazam is a partner at Lieff Global. Before joining Lieff Global, Ms. Hazam was an associate at Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, LLP, representing clients in mass torts cases, including aviation cases. After receiving her law degree from the University of California at Berkeley, Ms Hazam clerked for Judge Henry Kennedy Jr. of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. Ms. Hazam received Bachelor's and Master’s Degrees in Anthropology from Stanford University.
Ms. Hazam is currently representing clients across the globe in a wide range of international tort cases, including families of Brazilian victims of last year’s mid-air collision of a commercial airliner and corporate jet over the Amazon rainforest. Ms. Hazam has also played a leading role in representing nearly two-thousand hemophiliacs from 24 countries who contracted HIV from contaminated blood products in litigation against major American pharmaceutical companies.
Ms. Hazam speaks Spanish and Portuguese and has lived and worked previously in Latin America.
