Summary of Accident
On March 7, 2007, a Garuda Airlines Boeing 737 burst into flames as it landed in Indonesia, ending up 300 metres off the runway at Yogyakarta Airport.
Investigators said technical failures may have caused the crash, in which 22 people were killed. Officials said the plane was travelling too fast to have landed safely.
